  • What is the difference between the main Online Shop page and the Categorised Menu Lists?
    1. Online Shop Landing Page: Featured and Weekday Meal Planner menu items are the visible on the Online Shop main page. These items are usually available with very little waiting / preparation time - unless otherwise stated. All purchases show in your shopping bag and are concluded by clicking through to the Secure Payments page. The item(s) will be ready for pickup or delivery on the date and time specified at Checkout. 2. Categorised Menu Lists: All Items available on the Online Shop Page are also listed on the Categorised Menu pages. Orders placed from these pages are NOT purchases - they are only orders. We refer to them as "Quote Requests". They do not show in your Shopping Bag because payment is not required at order time. We will send you an email as soon as your order is received. Order details, price and ready date / time will be confirmed. To accept, click on the Secure Payment button that will be included in the email. To cancel your order - just don't pay! Feel free to send us an sms, call or email to confirm that we have received your payment, or to check that the transaction is cancelled.
  • What are Free Delivery Zones?
    These are areas that have no delivery fees - subject to a minimum order value. 1. Minimum Order R 50.00: Caversham, Marianhill, Ashley. 2. Minimum Order R 40.00: Northdene, Mosely, Hattons Estate, Farningham Ridge 3. Minimum Order R 30.00: Glen Park, Paradise Valley 4. Minimum Order R 20.00: All schools in any of the above areas.
  • I want to know in advance what my delivery fee will be. How?
    1. First Option: Sms your delivery address, order value and the date & time you would like your order delivered to 0613603551 and we will send you a heads-up of what fee (if any) will be levied. 2. Second Option: Do complete your order(s) by using only the Categorised Menu Lists - Not the Shop Page. When we receive your order, we will reply by email to confirm your order details, delivery date / time and delivery fee if applicable. You will then have the option to conclude your purchase by merely clicking on the Payment Button included in the email. To cancel your order, don't click on the Payment Button! Unpaid orders are cancelled automatically.
  • I received your confirmation email for my order. I don't want to cancel but I also don't want to pay yet as I have more questions or I want to revise my order. What do I do?
    Again, do not click on the Payment button of our email. Just send a reply email back to us with your questions or order revisions. We will send you a new Order Confirmation email. I all is now in order, you can proceed with your purchase by clicking on the revised Payment button in the email.
  • What are your delivery times?
    These time can be vieved and selected on the Order Form. Here they are again: 06h30 - 07h00 : Pickup only, no deliveries. 07h00 - 07h30 : Pickup as well as deliveries to Free Delivery Zones. 07h30 - 08h30 : Pickup Only. 10h00 - 18h30 : Pickups and all deliveries. 18h00 - 20h00 : Contact us please. We will see what we can do....
  • What are the portions and sizes of your meals?
    1. TakeOut : Refers to a meal for one person. Depending on the type of meal it is available in a 500ml foil container, 500ml tub / bowl or a punnet with the specified number of food items / weight. 2. TakeHome : Designed for families of three to six, portioned in 1.5lt, 2lt or 3lt containers. Depending on the contents it is available in foil trays, re-usable food grabe buckets or a punnet with the specified number of items / weight. 3. PartySize : As the name implies, these are for large families or parties. Depending on the contents, it is available in 5lt foil trays, 5lt re-usable food grade buckets or punnets with the specified number of food items / weight. 4. EventPots : For big spenders or entertainers! Food is supplied in large 50 and 60 liter pots. Pots and any other utensils or serving dishes must be returned after use. Depending on the pot size and supplied utensils, a minimum return deposit of R 500 is levied. 5. Platters : Our platters are standard 45cm trays. They are well-priced because we do not add the cost of the container or lid to the price. Return after use please - don't clean! We do the cleaning. A return deposit of R60 per platter is levied.
