What can be said about this much - loved South African favourite? It's BIG! The size of a big burger... just nicer! Filled with braised beef mince and some chopped veggies in a light gravy. Unlike a burger, the two halves are not separated. Instead, a slit is made on one side only and the inside stuffed with meaty goodness. We'd like to think of it as our local version of a Shawarma. Goes by a number of names - Sloppy Joe or Boere Samoosa comes to mind...

My first burger ever was from a well-known burger chain. It was So Good. But that was back in the day. Now the prices are up and portions are down. And the taste is so-so.

Now to OUR BURGERS: The bun is baked in our kitchen. The patty is made from scratch in our kitchen and char-grilled. The result? Better than even the back-in-the-day burger. Regrettably we do not have lettuce on our Burgers. It doesn't look like lettuce any more by the time it's served. We do make up for it with a generous serving of our BBQ sauce, slice tomato, onion and gherkin.
